Delicious Cafe

As part of my splurging-before-going-back-to-campus spree, I finally went to Delicious Cafe, Bangsar Village II. I've been curious about this place since the last time I passed this place when I went to Marmalade Cafe. Now that I've been there, I shall give my two cents on this cafe.

Entrance to Delicious Cafe.

I dislike the service provided by the waitresses. I rank it second to poor. First, they were just pointing to a random, general area for us to sit. I was literally walking randomly figuring out where to sit until they said, "Pick any seats."... My mom and I aren't the first customer to be in such situation. There were another two customers that were walking up and down looking for seats...

The second incident was when they brought us our orders. We ordered Warm Chicken Salad and Chocolate Brownies with Vanilla Ice Cream. Our waitress brought both the salad and the brownies together... Who serves main course and dessert at the same time... At least ask me when I want my brownies.

And the last, the waiters in the kitchen area were rather rowdy. They were talking and laughing so loud and not to mention pots and pants fell to the floor. Not a very pleasant dining experience...

Warm Chicken Salad.

The food was great. I love the Warm Chicken Salad tremendously. The vegetables were fresh and each bite gives a satisfying crunch to it and the dressing was just splendid. I love balsamic vinegar in salad dressing. Its got almond bits which I love and juicy chicken cubes.

And dessert, Chocolate Brownies with Vanilla Ice Cream. One word describes this and it is SINFUL. Each mouthful, the body screams CALORIES but it was worth every bite. Perfect balance of chocolate and vanilla, hot brownie and cold ice cream. On top of it, a generous serving of chocolate topping.

Sinful Chocolate Brownies with Vanilla Ice Cream.

I like the ambiance of the place especially the lightings. Great idea putting the lights in white bird cages and hang them up on the white branches. I like the idea of semi outdoor setting for those who smokes as well. There were tall, white frames, sliding windows to let the air circulate and sunlight into the place.

Check out the lights.

Besides the lack of quality waiters and waitresses, I like this place a lot. The food is lovely and the price is pretty alright. Go give it a try and see if you like it.
