I guess the title says it all. The Queer Ranter is dating in spite of having to work on the other side of South China Sea. It seems like Long Distance Relationships (LDRs) are the only sort of relationship that I can have at the moment. Not because I prefer it, it's the locations I seem to be when engaging a relationship. They are always away from the city, KL to be exact.
I'm not saying that there's no queers elsewhere of KL but I can, thus far, never find someone that I am remotely interested with. Even more so here where I am currently, I've only managed to meet up with two queers. They say the scene here is comparatively better but what scene is there here? Maybe I've not found the right channel...
But no matter.
Now I have The Doctor to look forward upon my return to KL. Things are happening fast and things are happening slow. Either way, things are happening between us. We'll take our time getting to know each other and see if things work out between us. Take it slow and steady through rocky and shallow waters.
One thing for sure though. Phone bill is going to skyrocket and I'll be even more of an Internet Junkie. This is the price to pay for technology that helps bring us closer. At least I have some plans for the coming months to go back to KL for short breaks. We can meet up and catch up and he will most definitely try to fatten me up with good food. I feel like a chicken being fatten up for slaughter...
Unexpected things are happening at the start of 2009 and I'm very keen to know what this year brings.
