The Six Thirty Bus

As they always say, all good things will come to an end. No truer words to describe my situation. I'm heading back to Notroh Woods after two days of fun, drinking, clubbing and scandalous acts. How I'm going to miss them all and I just got started too. Sigh. Guess it'll have to wait till I come back next month. Just have to hold on for three weeks.

In light of my sudden vanishing act of my this month's allowance, I have resorted to buying groceries and drag it back to campus. I foresee spending countless meals in my room. The things I do to save money eh. But lugging the bag is a nightmare!

Things mommy bought:

A bottle of Ribena
1 kg of Milo
7 cans of tuna
4 carton of Low Fat milk
3 boxes of Post cereals
6 bowls of instant noodles
1 loaf of bread
3 boxes of Campbells instant mushroom soup
1 bottle of Steffi's Delight No Added Sugar Peanut Butter

Food~~~

I know, tonnes of food right? Had to lugged this in my luggage.

Food drop.

Trust me it was filled to the max. My poor Hugo bag.

All nicely arranged.

This should keep me fed till I'm done here. Three weeks or so more to go. Save the money and go clubbing!

You know you love me.

I'm Home Again

I'm home once again. Safe and sound. Oddly, not as tired as I thought I would be. I was quite pleased with my seat. I sat at three seater part of the bus. Its interesting. The first half of the bus is a four seater and the other half is a three seater (this is new to me considering that I've not sat in a bus in ages!). So it was nice with no one bothering me on the side. Though I wish that I had more leg room.

The trip however, felt like it took ages to reach KL. I think the bus was moving at 80 km/h unlike what I'm used to. La Faghag drives like a madman (kidding) at speeds of 120 km/h straight. That why we can arrive in about three hours. The bus took four hours to reach!

Didn't do much while I was on the bus. Four hours of semi boredom, semi awake state, semi reading, listening to my PSP and full time staring at the moon and the landscape. I love traveling in the night. Staring out of the bus looking at lights of buildings beyond the trees along the highway that are otherwise hidden in the day time.

Looking at the moon gives some sort of mystic and tranquil feeling. I remember a saying, something like, "When I think of you, I look at the moon hoping that you too will look at the moon when you think of me.". Well if anyone know the correct version, do tell me.

Carl Hiaasen - Basket Case

Oh and I'm reading a new book that La Faghag passed me. Carl Hiaasen - Basket Case. One word to describe this book. HILARIOUS! After reading a few pages of it, I'm a fan of his work. Its about his basket case of a journalist trying to make his big break and pull himself out of the dump position of writing obituary column when writing the obituary for a sudden suspicious death of a superstar. Very interesting and very funny. I think I might just get his other books using the Borders Gift Card.

I'm so glad my reading habit has picked up pace. The amount of good books I was missing while I was on a reading break. I love love love reading good books. Spend countless hours reading and reading. Hmmm...

Well its good to be back home again. I really like my apartment, though it could use tonnes of renovating before it becomes my perfect home. I'm already dreaming of the perfect room. I'll blog that out in the future. I can't wait to get started with my room. Now all I need is money and many trips down to IKEA. Heheheh.

You know you love me.

Back Again In Civilization

I'm back in civilization again~~~ Arrived yesterday. Six weeks of staying in the Mystical Notroh Wood has its adverse effects on poor little queer like me who crave for big, tall buildings, populate metropolitan air, mass transport system, fashion and SALE!

I heart KL.

The thing about coming back to KL is, money will disappear mysteriously in a flash. This trip for instance, when I just arrived and met McDave and Janvier, automatically RM100 vanished from my wallet... This person's present, gotta have that shirt, this person owes this person bla bla bla. Its like paying airport tax when you land in a foreign country...

Though I absolutely adore the shirts I got from People's (bought one myself and another courtesy of Janvier).

I love People's~~~

The sex shirt is definitely not suitable to be worn for open houses so I shall reserve that for other outings. I love the red shirt with the zombie dog as Janvier puts it. Heheh. Fell in love it with it on first sight and it was an impulse buy for me.

Retail therapy for stressed one.

Now, I shall get ready to go to Sam's house for open house. Rendangs, ketupat and chicken on a stick here I come.

Woot woot~~~

Happy Raya in advance everyone!~~~

Here I Go Again

Guess what. I'm off to KL again! Woot woot. So happy and finally get to meet McDave after a month not meeting him. Hehehe. Seems like I don't have work to do eh.

I'd like to show you guys what I found in the toilet recently. Graffiti. Heheheh. I think its hilarious.

It says, "Think for a moment. Malaysia has been independent for 50 years and you're still squatting and shitting. Think about it."

Happy Belated Bday Msia!

Off We Go

La faghag and I left campus at 4 pm yesterday to head to KL. With news of the bus accident and also the rainy weather of KL, we didn't want to leave campus too late and also to avoid parents nagging at us. Safety comes first, no matter what you do.

Truth be told, initially we were suppose to leave at 5 pm. We had Malaysian Studies class that ends at 5 pm but halfway through we just skipped the second half of the class. The new lecturer is really boring. A boring history lecturer. Just what we need for an afternoon class.

We just sneaked out of the class during 5 mins break and hit the road.

Road Trip!

Nothing exciting happened. Just tonnes and tonnes of road constructions. So many traffic jams and traffic crawls along the way. I kinda slept for sometime. I can't stay awake in a car. Hit the highway and I'll wonder into slumber land.

Anyhow, I'm in KL now enjoying my weekend dose of civilization.

Penang Trip III

We woke up super early on Sunday to eat dim sum in the place we had dim sum the last time we were here. I just love the dim sum they have here. We arrive about seven in the morning and already it was almost half full. By half past seven, its packed. I just love the egg tart they make there. Oh I'm already hungry posting about it...

Yummy dim sum.

For lunch it was another wedding reception of the same couple but this time its the bridegroom's side. They served nasi minyak (literal translation is oily rice) with chicken, beef, salted fish and mixed vege. It was quite nice actually. The music was way too loud for my liking. It almost made me deft on my left ear.

Gifts for the bridegroom from the bride.

My roomie bought bus ticket for me to go back to KL since I wanted to come back on Sunday to go to work on Monday. He got me the four o'clock bus but what a five hour journey back suddenly became an eight hours ride home... Its all cause of the jam in the North-South highway... Its stupid to think that highway was jammed with cars... So I got home at midnight... *grrr

One thing I'm annoyed besides the whole highway jam is that I didn't get my ear pierced... I was hoping so much to get it done in Penang but didn't have time nor the proper place to get it done. Its just so annoying and this has been postponed for way too long...

Penang Trip II

We had our lunch in De Kayu mamak stall which is famous for their nasi kandar though its super expensive for mamak food. It was ok, nothing fancy. I had nasi briyani, fried fish eggs and honey fried chicken. Yummy but it cost about RM10. Ouch...

RM40 per fish head for fish head curry...

Spent the first half of Saturday in Queen's Bay Mall, soon to be a posh place to stay and the houses are super expensive. You can say its Penang's version of Mid Valley Megamall though I don't think its as big as Mid Valley Megamall. Its quite a nice place to go shopping, window shopping and shopping for eye candies.

At first it was rather disappointing cause I couldn't spot any twinky boys but they slowly filled the place with em. I kinda like Penang boys and oh they're just so adorable. Plus points for Penang then. Good food and adorable boys.

We all did some shopping when we were there. I got a pink shirt, a khakis shorts and a pair of thongs (flip flops if you were wondering). I love my new outfit and I think I'm gonna need more tops from now on. This was the bad influence from la faghag for making me splurge just by flashing the pink shirt in front of me.

Even here in Penang, Lee Hom's advertisement covered the billboards. Well not all but I managed to get a few. Hehehe. I love his advertisements. Just look at them. He's so gorgeous.

Here is Lee Hom along the Penang Bridge.

Lee Hom in old part of town.

Lee Hom somewhere in Penang.

For dinner we went to a hawker center in Goodall. There was so much food everywhere and I had a headache trying to decide which to eat. So I just ordered fried kuay teow with cockles. Always a safe bet though a super unhealthy choice. Slender faghag ordered Yong Taufu soup and ikan bakar. They were absolutely delicious.

Besides the delicious food, I had my other serving of appetizers, main dishes and desserts. He is the crème de la crème of all that is what I call adorable twinks. He was wearing a brown t-shirt with torn jeans and both ears pierced with studs that makes him all the more adorable. Twin faghag and I were so into him. I think he noticed that I stared at him several times but I couldn't help myself. He is indeed the most adorable looking boy Penang could offer.

After dinner, we went to Batu Ferringhi. The faghags wanted to get dvds from there since it's dirt cheap. RM4 per dvd. That's amazing but since I've already splurged on my clothes, I didn't buy anything from there. There weren't many boys around as I hoped. Oh well.

We had to move to a hotel room from our service apartment. We got a two queen size bed and I had the pleasure to sleep with all my four faghags. It was quite an experience just sleeping with them. Heheheh. La faghag was the one sleeping next to me. I can feel the jealousy and envy brooding in all the straight guys that is going to read this post.

Penang Trip I

I am just gonna photo blog my trip in Penang, or at least try to, in no particular order. So here goes.

Slender faghag
and I met la faghag Taman Jaya LRT station on Friday. La faghag was the one driving and as usual I'll be the boy boy sitting at the back seats playing with Rat rat, Teddy and Pink Lion. The plan was to meet twin faghag and bollywood faghag in Sungai Perak stop and from there we convoyed to Penang. The trip there was kinda fun. Rat rat, Teddy and Pink Lion enjoyed it thoroughly while jumping around to the front seat and back again. I fell asleep for most of the journey.

Look at them all excited for the trip.

All in deep slumber in the car.

There was a slight glitch on the way to Penang. La faghag's car wouldn't start after refueling petrol. There would be no ignition every time she turns the key. We waited a little while then she got the car started. Later we found out that it was the wiring that was loose and it just needed some TLC connecting the wires.

The first meal that we had upon arriving was Asam Fish Chicken Rice. It was yummy. The roasted chicken tasted so juicy with soy sauce and the asam gravy was just as equaly delicious and super spice.

Asam Fish Chicken Rice.

Roast chicken, crispy roast pork and asam fish curry.

The wedding reception was held in Vistana Hotel and it was a grand reception with about 200 relatives and guests attended the dinner. I wore a gold colour baju melayu with black sampeng made from songket that my fag roomie loaned me. I attracted quite an amount of stares from the everyone there. Heheh.

Throne of the newly wed.

Yummy food.

Not to forget, there was this cutie that was in the function. Oh he was so adorable and kinda tall as well. Twin faghag and me enjoyed him shamelessly, (well at least I was) staring at him with every chance we get. The only thing I know about him is that he works in Dell.

We stayed in the service apartment in Vistana itself. The faghags took a room to themselves and us two fags took another room. I love the apartment and its cheap too, RM150 (special rate). It was ages that almost all of us gathered together ever since we started out internships. We spent the night catching up, bitching and gossiping.

Bed hoggers...

Penang Penang

Ohoi lads.

I'm off to the land up north where food are bountiful and men are abundant.

Well I'm off to Penang today with la faghag and my other three faghags (yes I have a truckload full of faghag), for my fag roomie's sister's wedding.

Be back Sunday night.

So stay tune.
