It seems that William's tardy blogging habits have spread to me. He's infamous for his tardy travel posts and I wonder why is that. Hehehehe. This post is a week overdue but just as well that it's late cause a friend gave me a YouTube link to accompany my post. And what a hilarious and QUEER YouTube it is!
Last year I missed the Christmas party at Paul's and this year I almost missed it but last minute decision made me go. It was my first time driving in KL. My first time driving on the North-South highway and my first time driving in Melaka. Suffice to say, we all miraculously survived. There was a little drama entering the North-South highway but it wasn't anything major (Sam's brother was screaming "I don't want to die" for some reason...).
Driving drama aside (The Doctor seems to think I have bad driving skills...), the party was awesome. Sleepover, food, drinks and loads of drinks, reruns of Marry Poppins and Mamma Mia and recap of the past stories. We even played The Game of Life! I hearts that game so much! I love my boardgames.
I'll skip the details as many others have blogged vivid detailed accounts of the party itself but all in all, it was a reunion that I desperately needed. It's been ages since I've been to one of these gatherings and I've been missing out a lot of them ever since I started working. I really do miss my queer family. Despite the dramas that's been going on, I still love them. Which family is not dysfunctional sometimes right?
Another memorable part of this party is my unexpected chance meet with The Doctor. Gosh this is just like Andrew and his doctor in Desperate Housewives! What a queer coincident!
Anyhow, do watch the YouTube below. This is how a Queer Christmas should be.
You know you love me.
XOXO
