How I wish I have a holographic doctor just like the one in Star Trek Voyager to help cure me of my medical emergencies... I'm in dire pain. Pain beyond belief and oh, the emotional turmoil that it has caused me. I am scarred for life~~~
Well not really. I'm just being melodramatic as usual. For about a month now, my fingertips have developed a skin condition due to the stupid El Cheapo dishwasher solution. I was using it back in campus where I literally camped in my room day and night. Washing my plates and utensils made the skin dry and started peeling...
But that was alright once I stopped using it and applied loads of moisturiser.
Then it came back again and now worse I think. Just today, I peeled of a new layer of dry skin... I don't understand why cause I actually stopped washing the dishes... What could have irritated it more?
Are my fingers curse to forever be skinless. Expose my fragile naked finger flesh?
Any tips on how to get rid of this unsightly and irritating condition?
You know you love me.
XOXO

This is my curse on you for dissing my dry fingers.
well, maybe you jerk off too much! haha you know, actually Vaseline do wonders. you can also try Rosken dry skin repair lotion [or something that sound like that]
ouch!
O.o
Sam: I did not diss your fingers!?
FableFrog: Hmmm shall try it out. Then I'll have slippery fingers~~~
Samantha: Yea. Ouch. :(
Jason: Yes. O.o
iris : hmmm probably due to the some other factors like your body wash? or did u change your lotion recently?
Dont worry i'm a beautician also a make up artist. (not a doctor or skin specialist)
but maybe i can help =D ..maybe...
Simple solution. Don't finger yourself too much. The bum is not an ideal environment for fingers no matter ow much you enjoy it. :)
Booppi: No change in facial cleanser or any other soap... I don't know what's wrong~~~
Zyklon22: ...
That's... I have no words.
*smack
There might be a possible that there is a fungal infection involved, that's why it won't go away. Treating the wrong thing. Go see a doctor.
hmmm maybe sensitive towards dust?? nvm try applying er.. SHIT i forget the name of that lotion.
I once had cracked toes when i was younger. It cracked into two and it bleeds. It comes once in a while but i am not very sure i was contacted with what that makes my toes cracked. Then i soaked my legs on hot tea. -____-" (that was my mom's idea) its dint help. Then i started apply this lotion. Oh yeah is ROSKEN, i think. Blue in color package (also have orange i think thats cream) Very cheap can find it in guardian or waston. Try using it. This lotion cures my crack.
use crabtree and evelyn's gardeners cream. pricey but works wonder, smells like spice. else try sally hansen's butter cream for hands, smells like orange. both are about rm50.
William: Hmmm maybe. I'll give it a little more time and see what happens. It's getting better now I reckon.
Booppi: Yep shall try that lotion. Thanks.
Anonymous: Ooo ok thanks. Will try that if everything else fails then. :)
Looks like allergic contact dermatitis. Its a type of sensitvity reaction that you build up from being exposed to allergens (well at least things that your skin is allergic to.
My guess is that whatever has triggered the initial reaction from the time that you were using the detergent back in your dorm is also present in something that you are using at home. Perhaps the washing up liquid at home. These things all contain the similar types of products. You might even find that it is due to something that you have been exposed to for years and only react to it recently. An example is latex used by health professionals. The latex allergy only develops after a few years of exposure to latex.
Just a suggestion. If it is then you have to just simply avoid whatever it is. You could of course try go to the doctors for allergen testing. But that costs money, and the treatment is avoid the allergen and topical steroids (low doses) for remittance.
you can try to take some fruit/ medi which provides "Vit-C". It could help on this. I've this problem early during my secondary school.
My friends advised me to take some oranges or Vit-C medi. I eat an orange about 2-3 days once, it's work after some times. You can try on it. This is my experience, good to share.

C.K.: Oh thanks. It's better now. Nothing serious like you described. Heheheh.
Anonymous: Yea. Increasing my intake of fruits in a form of juice! :P
